Lexis Arcana stores your preferences, favorites, and glimpse counts locally in your
browser using browser.storage.sync.
This data syncs across your devices through your browser account (Chrome Sync or Firefox Sync)
and is never sent to any third-party server.
The extension loads the Playfair Display typeface from Google Fonts for display purposes. This is the only external network request made by the extension. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
This website (lexisarcana.com) uses PostHog and LogRocket to understand how visitors interact with the marketing site. Between them they record pages visited, referral source, and browser and device type. PostHog also records a session replay, but only on the landing, welcome and farewell pages — the root reference pages are never recorded. All form fields are masked in those replays, so anything you type (including the email signup field) is not captured. If you arrive on the welcome or farewell page after installing or removing the extension, we also record which version you had and roughly how many days you used it.
These services run on this website only — the extension itself includes no analytics of any kind. They set cookies to recognise a returning visitor, process data in the United States, and can be blocked with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker.
